Sport is an educational experience because is the upbringing a process of transmitting values. Values education can take place at home, as well as in schools, colleges, sport. This article presents the concept of education through sport. According to pope Francis there are three fundamental pillars in an educational path (apart from family and Church): school, sport and work. Sport can teach young people values: honesty, respect, engagement, friendliness, culture of meeting.
